CG2022 | Bromfield places fifth in women’s 400 metres

Jamaica’s Junelle Bromfield finished fifth in the women’s 400 metres at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Sunday.
Bromfield clocked 51.45 seconds as Barbados Sada Williams won in a Games’ record of 49.90 with England’s pair of Victoria Ohuruogu and Jodie Williams finishing second and third in 50.72 and 51.26 respectively.
Ohuruogu’s time was a personal best with England’s Williams doing a season best.
