Officiating problems at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships have forced a re-run of the girls' Class Four 70 metres hurdles, which took place this morning inside the National Stadium.

The event will be re-run at 1:00 p.m. today.

There were problems with athletes approaching the first hurdle, as well as others midway the races.

After protests by some of the coaches the situation had to be fixed, forcing a re-run.

The Gleaner understands the distance to the first set of hurdles were not standard, forcing early and mid-race adjustments by the athletes.
