Petersfield’s Alexis James got out the block quickly and sped to an easy victory in the Class One girls’ 100 metres hurdles at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium today.

James finished in 13.39 seconds, with the fast-finishing Asharria Ulett of St Catherine High coming through to capture the silver medal in 13.59 as Edwin Allen’s Tonie-Ann Forbes was third in 13.61.
