#Champs2023 | Wolmer’s Natrece East fights for Class Three girls’ 200m gold

Wolmer’s Girls’ Schools’ Natrece East fought off a gruelling homestretch battle with Theianna-Lee Terr of Edwin Allen to win the Class Three girls’ 200 metres at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium today.

Terr had passed East at the top of the homestretch, but East battled hard in the final 50 metres to take the lead and hold on for victory in 24.20 seconds, with Terr doing 24.64. Onetta Mitchell of Hydel was third in 24.92.
