SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Authorities say two men were arrested after posting their crimes on social media web sites.

The Sacramento Bee reports last week that 28-year-old Damon Batson and 25-year-old Carlos Gonzalez were arrested for drug and weapons charges.

In the video, police say, Gonzalez appears to recklessly discharge the gun as a passenger in the front seat of a moving vehicle.

Based on the video, police said, Batson is believed to have been driving the car when the gun was fired, the newspaper reported.

No one was injured. Police later recovered the gun.

Gonzalez was booked on weapons charges. Batson was booked on drug and weapons charges.

Neither was available for comment yesterday. It was not known if either has been assigned or hired an attorney.
