Three women and a man killed in Riversdale, St Catherine
The police are investigating a quadruple killing in Top Crawl district, Riversdale, St Catherine, where three women and a man were found dead in their home on Tuesday morning.
The victims have been identified as Kerrian Higgins, Dorothy Higgins, Dianne Johnson and Kevin.
It's reported that about 2:15 a.m., residents heard explosions and summoned the police.
Initial reports suggest that three men, dressed in black clothing, wearing masks and armed with handguns gained entry to the house by forcing open a front door and grille.
They reportedly questioned the now deceased persons before opening gunfire killing them on the spot. They then escaped.
It's understood that children were in the house at the time of the incident but weren't harmed.
Councillor William Cytall of the Troja Division described the incident as sad.
"This is tragic and wicked. I just don't know what could cause this gruesome incident," Cytall said.
