It's known for its nature trail, its cool climes, its variety of plants and so much more. Staff Photographer Ricardo Makyn captured some of the sights and scenes from the famous Blue Mountains, which extend across sections of St Andrew, St Thomas and Portland.

The Blue Mountain Peak towers 7,402 feet or 2,250 metres above sea level and remains a prime attraction for hikers both from Jamaica and elsewhere.
