Molynes, Hampshire showdown

A pulsating encounter is expected when defending champions Hampshire 'A' face Molynes United 'A' in the quarter-finals of the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA)/Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Open League Consolation Knockout competition, at the Leila Robinson Courts today, starting at 6 p.m.
Also at the same time, G.C. Foster Strikers 'A' will oppose UWI Revolution, while at 7 p.m., Maxfield Park battle Molynes United 'B'.
Hampshire 'A', have been in impressive form this season, winning seven games and losing one.
Very confident
Shaunalee Mais, captain of Hampshire 'A' said: "We are very confident because we have only lost one game this season and we are going to play very hard to defend our title.
"We are expecting a very tough game from them because they also want to win this trophy and so we are not going to take them lightly."
Molynes United 'A' possess almost the same record as their opponents, winning six times and losing once.
Coach hoping for the best
Their coach, Roy Pryce, said: "We are going to play our best and at the end of the game, we are hoping that our best will be good enough for a win. They are a well coached team with a lot of good players who are very fit and aggressive and so we are expecting a real fast and physical game from them."
Meanwhile, in matches played on Saturday, defending champions Jamalco defeated Maxfield Park 33-17, Tivoli Gardens 'A' stopped Ebony Strikers 'A' 37-15, Waulgrovians 'A' beat Skibo 'A' 37-16, Leiba Gardens stopped Upper Camp 21-16, Blades United 'A' got by Tivoli 'B' 35-15, Arnett Gardens 'B' whipped Liguanea United 29-16 and Windalo beat Mico 25-21.
