Two-time Flow Champions Cup winners, Waterhouse, beat August Town 1-0 in their second-round encounter at the Waterhouse Mini Stadium yesterday.

Waterhouse got off to a sprightly start and got on the scoresheet with only seven minutes gone in the match. They strung together a string of passes before Stephen Williams got off a lovely shot from the edge of the 18-yard box, which left August Town's custodian Devon Haughton with no chance.

In the other games, defending champions Boys' Town clipped Sporting Central 1-0. St Georges were also 1-0 winners over Portmore United, while Arnett Gardens blanked Greenwhich Town 5-0 and Granville outscored York United 3-2.

The competition continued today with three matches. Humble Lions welcome Tivoli Gardens at Effortville Community Centre for a 3 p.m. fixture; Reno host Village United at Frome Sports Complex, also at 3 p.m.; and Rivoli United will entertain Harbour View at Spanish Town Prison Oval in a scheduled 6 p.m. kick-off.
