Jewellery is making a significant statement - literally. If you love to wear big, bold and chunky jewellery, then you'll be right in your comfort zone this year. Not quite different from past seasons' trends, items are about the bold yet stylish chunky necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets.

Whether you wear it layered, long, bold in colour or shape, a statement-making necklace will definitely do the trick in jazzing up an outfit. If it seems like something is missing from the look, you might be amazed how such a necklace will fill the void.

Connecting with the religious or those who just love the art of it, the cross pendant is in. At the recent London Fashion Week, many models strutted the runway with cross pendants in traditional and contemporary variations. From simple to elaborate pendants, there are many stylish ones to celebrate faith or recognise style.

Earrings are, by far, the most favoured piece of jewellery by women. Since it is about making a statement with jewellery pieces for the ears, in addition to the very edgy and bold ones, chandelier earrings are making a big comeback. Giving an instant look of femininity and glamour, these earrings feature many details.

Rings, bangles and bracelets are also making it big on the hands, as they suggest boldness. There are a lot of metal options, along with black and colourful plastic pieces.

When wearing these statement-making pieces, allow one piece to highlight and accentuate your style. If you are going to wear an elaborate necklace, go conservative with the earrings. If the outfit is already elaborate, be conservative in choosing the accessories you wear.
