Spectators heading to the Western leg of the Jamaica Public Service Company Ltd (JPS) Science & Technology Expo tomorrow should be in for an interesting display of projects - ranging from alternative energy sources to recycling for agricultural purposes, all under the theme 'Green Technology for Survival'.

The Expo, which will be held at the West Jamaica Conference Centre of Seventh-day Adventists, is the second in the series of the JPS Science & Technology Expo 2010, which is held in collaboration with the Scientific Research Council and the Association of Science Teachers of Jamaica.

The Expo, which gives students from the primary to tertiary level an opportunity to showcase their innovations, inventions and scientific displays, is now a signature event for schools from Westmoreland, St James, Hanover, Trelawny and parts of St Ann. Almost 30 schools are expected to participate this year, the highest number of registrants, in the eight years of the Expo.
