A pumped-up University of the West Indies (UWI) appear highly motivated for their challenge against leaders Jetsetters in today's feature match in the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA)/Supreme Ventures Divisional 'A' League at the Leila Robinson Courts starting at 6 p.m.

Jetsetters are unbeaten this season and lead the standings with 12 points, six ahead of UWI, who have won two of three matches. They lost for the first time last Saturday when Molynes United beat them.

Despite the loss UWI's coach, Conrad Parks, is sure his team can return to winning ways.

"The girls are confident and upbeat because we have put the loss on Saturday behind us and we are ready to rebound in this game," said Parks.

Defensive netball

"However, we will have play good defensive netball and the offence will come because I know that we have some good shooters who will deliver for us on the day," Parks added.

UWI will rest their hopes in the hands of centre Zalika Paul, goal attack Shawnette Kerr and goal shooter Alicia Williams.

The C. Lloyd Walker coached-Jetsetters, who were demoted from the Super League last season, have won all four of their matches and their shot at a fifth straight will be led by national representative Crystal Gordon, along Antoinette Gray and Antoinette Miller.

In the day's other games, also at the same time, Ravens 'A' battle Ebony Strikers 'A', Blades United 'A' entertain Alexander Strikers 'A' and Speg 'A' face Molynes United 'A'.
