FALMOUTH, Trelawny

Flow Champions Cup defending champions Boys' Town marched into the semi-finals of the competition yesterday, following a 1-0 win over Village United at the Elliston Wakeland Centre in Falmouth.

Asrick Samuels scored the all-important goal in the 70th minute when he outran his marker to head past goalkeeper Elvis Hart.

Village started out more purposeful and squandered some easy chances in the first half. The victors took control in the second half and got the deserved winner.

Winning coach Andrew Price was glad for the victory. "We knew it was going to be a hard game based on the condition of the field," Price said. He added that they put everything into the game as they did not come to the west to take the match lightly.
