A word to JALPA

Published:Sunday | March 21, 2010 | 12:00 AM

The Editor, Sir:

As a former Air Jamaica employee, one who goes back to the days before Air Jamaica had its own aircraft, the days when the Miami, Montego Bay and Kingston routes were operated by BWIA with BWIA aircraft, and the New York, Montego Bay and Kingston route was operated by BOAC - yes, at the time it was BOAC not British Airways - I would respectfully suggest to JALPA to lease its own equipment and operate Air Jamaica's most profitable routes. Then it can beat the pants off Caribbean Airlines.

It can be done!!!
