Come Sunday, revellers will be chippin' and palancing in the streets of St Andrew, marking the finale of this year's carnival season.
Revellers will endure hours on the road and one way of doing this properly is to hydrate the body.
To keep the party and fun vibe going, many revellers consume alcoholic beverages which are available right throughout the road march. However, while this may seem like the way to go, the body still needs to be hydrated with cold, non-alcoholic beverages.
The best choice is water, and, on the day, there are two options to choose from. There is the usual bottled water and then the bag water, packaged like bag juice. The latter is given out at intervals to revellers.
If for some reason you prefer something sweeter, there are other options. You can choose to cool down with Gatorade and Lucozade, which will serve as energy boosters as well. And there is always the choice of drinking cran water.
Your body will definitely need a little cooling down experience, and the best way is to fuel your body with the right balance of refreshments.
