Right move

The Editor, Sir:
The murder rate in Jamaica is spiralling out of control; and, as you rightly put it in The Gleaner, it seems as if nobody is accountable.
You honestly feel like an orphan child with nobody looking out for you or protecting you from this scourge of crime.
You don't even know the true perpetrators of the crime. Corrupt police, corrupt officials and criminals all seem to be in bed together.
How can you be patriotic in a time like this? I foresee a 1970s brain drain and capital flight all over again.
I am, etc.,
