Supreme Court judge Leighton Pusey has issued a stern warning that no reports must be given to the media on proceedings in the Gun Court relating to the case of Patrick Roberts, People's National Party caretaker for West Central St Andrew.

"The judge has placed a gag order on the case," a policeman remarked Monday shortly after Roberts' bail was extended.

Roberts, who is scheduled to return to court on April 29, was ordered fingerprinted by the police.

The Shocking Vibes music production company boss is facing charges of illegal possession of firearm, negligent loss of a firearm and breaching the Firearms Act.

He is being represented by attorney-at-law Valerie Neita Robertson.

The 45-year-old businessman and politician was charged last Wednesday.

It has been alleged that a gun which the police recovered from a man involved in a shoot-out belongs to Roberts. The police indicated that when Roberts was questioned on March 30 in relation to the matter, he indicated that he was not aware that the gun was missing.

A file was subsequently sent to the director of public prosecutions, who ruled that Roberts be charged.
