Possibilities In Action hits Junction

JUNCTION, ST ELIZABETH:

Jamaica Money Market Brokers' (JMMB) 'Possibilities In Action' forums continues to role.

Last week, the forum hit Junction in St Elizabeth where Keith Duncan, group chief executive officer, expressed appreciation for the response coming from the south St Elizabeth town.

Duncan told The Gleaner: "Junction is a town of independent people, people who want to succeed using their resources."

The forum was hosted at the Junction Guest House, and in addition to leading executives of the company, several of the town's noted folk were featured on the official programme.

During the forum, participants were given financial workbooks, specially designed to help chart the course towards certain financial goals.

Those involved in the forum were asked to complete various sections of the workbook, such as a personal statement of their net worth and a budget planner. From that, persons were able to tell what part of a financial life cycle they were currently in, and so were able to chart various courses of action.

Typical of an earlier forum hosted in Mandeville, Junction was targeted in light of recent redundancies in the bauxite industry, and the obvious lure of new clientele from the parish's largely farming base.
