Defending Champions St Andrew High won their third consecutive match in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Associa-tion/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-16 competition, defeating Mona High 2-0 on Thursday at the Mona Hockey Turf.

St Andrew, who are unbeaten in the competition, got their goals courtesy of Abbigail Lumsden (20th) and national invitee Demi Nicholson (49th). The defeat was Mona's third of the season.

In the day's other game, Shanar White scored four times to lead the Convent of Mercy Academy, Alpha, to a 6-0 victory over Immaculate Conception. White scored in the 10th, 26th, 30th and 35th minutes. Jhanell Johnson scored the other goals in the 47th and 49th.

St Andrew and Alpha are now tied atop the Zone A standings with nine points, followed by Immaculate, on three. St Hugh and Mona are yet to register a point.

In Zone B, Papine lead with seven points ahead of Excelsior (four), The Queen's School (three) and Wolmer's Girls (0).

On the boys side, defending champions Munro College lead Zone A with 10 points, following a 1-0 win over Excelsior High in a top-of-the-table clash at Munro yesterday.

The loss relegated Excelsior to second on seven points, the same as Tivoli Gardens, who have played only three matches.

Munro have played four, while Excelsior have played five.

Wolmer's (one) and St Andrew Technical High School (0), who have played three games apiece, are the other schools in the group.
