- Marliyn Nash , Administrator of the Flanker Peace and Justice Centre : I think the stake-holders - Government, private sector, police and citizens - don't see crime as a big picture ... on a whole, we are not thinking about how to address the problem unless it affects us. Persons with the wherewithal are not helping in the process.

As a member of the Rose Heights Full Gospel Church, the bishop and members sought God's intervention by fasting and praying. We brought this out into the community, and right now we are enjoying peace in Rose Heights. - Godfrey Dyer, Businessman: Crime is extremely frightening now and I think that you need more police presence and police investigation to detect. One of the weaknesses is that we are not detecting enough, so we have a lot of crimes not being cleared up. Until we are able to catch the culprits, we will never be able to reduce crime.
