Motorsport fans are in for a delightful treat come next month, when Pines Plaza in Junction, St Elizabeth, comes alive with the third staging of Slippery Wen Wett.

"It's going to be dubbed Liquid Nitro Trilogy and will be held on January 23, 2011," said promoter Kingsley Scott.

He said this event would be different from previous stagings.

"Patrons are in for a treat as they will be getting three shows for the price of one. So, it will be three times the fun and excitement," he continued.

The promoter explained the adrenaline-filled event should see drivers showcasing skills and matching dexterity.

Three the Hard Way

"There's the Three The Hard Way, which will see a matchup among Jamaica's outstanding drivers," he said. "Rally expert Richie 'Sir Rich' Reirre, Dover's Douglas 'Hollywood' Gore and top sprinter Junior 'Flete' Barnes will be squaring off."

The promoter said the show promises to be a fun-filled event.

"There will also be the Terrible Threes with the three competitors all under 11 years old," Scott said. He said safety issues were also carefully thought out for patrons.

"Barricades and an ambulance will be on hand in the event of any eventualities," he said.

Admission is $500 and $300 for kids.

"It's gonna be a memorable event," Scott added.
