French Ambassador Marc-Olivier Gendry hosted a farewell reception at Hillcrest Avenue, St Andrew, on Wednesday, March 14. He departed last Friday while his successor, Ambassador Ginette de Matha, arrived on Saturday. See Sunday's Outlook for more of the guests who attended.

Friday, March 9 was the sashing of contestants in this year's Miss Jamaica World Middlesex contest. Sponsors, finalists and onlookers mixed and mingled at the event which took place at the OMG Restaurant, Cobblestone, Brumalia Road, Mandeville. Two of the contestants are pictured below.
