Cornwall Courts roads disgraceful
THE EDITOR, Sir:
The roads leading to the Cornwall Courts Housing Scheme are in an atrocious condition. These roads are King Street, Salt Spring Road and Green Pond Road, which have been dug up for the better part of 2011. To date, they haven't been fixed.
Meanwhile, marl dust is 'killing' the poor commuters on these treacherous stretch of roads. Driving there is akin to being in a bounceabout because of the numerous ruts and potholes.
This is a sprawling community with thousands of residents who are taxpayers, of which I am an aggrieved one.
Why can't we citizens get a decent road? Relevant authorities, take heed. We can't afford for the Arab Spring to reach Jamaica.
