Rotary Club on medical mission

A MEDICAL mission comprising three doctors and four nurses from the Harbour Heights Peace River Rotary Club in Florida, United States of America, is currently on the island to provide free medical services to residents in sections of Kingston and Morant Bay.

The medical mission is being hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Kingston and Morant Bay and will hold clinics for hundreds of individuals over a two-day period.

The medical team will see patients at the St Pius X Catholic Church Clinic at 10 Olympic Way, Olympic Gardens in Kingston, today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and tomorrow they will see patients at the Paul Bogle High School, in Morant Bay, St Thomas, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Free of charge

The team is providing medical consultation, treatment and medications free of charge to patients of all ages.

The Rotary Club of Kingston is the oldest Rotary Club in Jamaica, established in June 1959, and is one of three sponsoring clubs of the Rotary Club of Morant Bay which was chartered in October 2011.
