Committed to giving value

Published:Wednesday | April 4, 2012 | 12:00 AM

I WRITE in response to a letter from Mr Howard Wynand in The Gleaner dated Tuesday, April 3, titled 'Shape up Digicel'.

First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Wynand for his feedback and to assure him that we remain resolute in our commitment to providing our customers with the best value, best network and best service.

As we continue to carry out extensive network upgrades, we are aware that this has resulted in our service to some customers not being at its optimal level. This upgrade is designed to facilitate the islandwide roll-out of 4G Mobile and to ensure that our customers continue to get the highest standard of service they have become accustomed to from Digicel.

In the meantime, we have followed up with Mr Wynand and are awaiting his response so that we can address his specific issues. We are also encouraging customers that have feedback for us to contact our customer service team by sending an email to where an agent will be happy to assist them.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their patience while this upgrade has been taking place, and for their loyalty to Digicel.
