Good move, Digicel!

I COULDN'T help but notice the letters that appeared in your papers over the past few weeks about Digicel's service, which motivated me to submit and tell my story.
I have seen notices from Digicel about their network improvement, and as a parent with a teenager that goes crazy about technology, I am anxiously awaiting the launch of 4G. My son says he has experienced their 3G service on his phone on and off during their testing and he said it was pretty fast, so we are looking out for great things.
However, I am writing about something else, and it's to tell them good move on the new rate - the $8.99 plan. I have to admit that I was a bit sceptical at first because you have to opt in, but one good experience has comforted me. I put $500 credit on my phone, as I usually do at the beginning of the month, and a few days later I made a call. I am sure I must have been on the call for quite a while as I was discussing some business (I have a small business in import/export). When I came off the call, I checked my balance before calling another customer and, to my surprise, I had $353.24, and this was after using my credit for about four days, plus being on that one call for quite a while. From this, it is very clear to me, therefore, that the $8.99 rate works, especially since Digicel also still offers their gimme five.
So I am writing to tell Digicel - good move!
