JFF announces ticket prices for Guyana friendly
The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) yesterday announced what it called 'special rates' for tickets to next month's friendly international against Caribbean counterparts Guyana, which will be played at the Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay on May 18.
According to a JFF release issued yesterday afternoon, both teams, which are in preparation for upcoming World Cup qualifying assignments, are expected to feature a number of their overseas-based players in the game that is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m.
When ticket outlets open for business on May 15, Reggae Boyz fans will be able to purchase bleachers (east stand) tickets for $500, while upper grandstand and lower grandstand seats will cost $1,500 and $1,000, respectively.
Prices will be adjusted for purchases at the gate on match day, with bleachers tickets going for $700, upper grandstand $2,000 and lower grandstand $1,500.
"The Jamaica Football Federation continues its policy of offering special rates to fans attending pre-World Cup Qualifying games," the release stated.
Guyana, which is drawn alongside Mexico, El Salvador and Costa Rica, will kick off their qualifying campaign against Mexico away on June 8; and Jamaica, drawn alongside Guatemala, USA and Antigua and Barbuda, will play Guatemala at home in their first qualifier, also on June 8.
