Doncaster, Sandown, Perth, Plumpton and Chepstow are the courses active today, but there is simulcast racing from New York's Belmont Park and Finger Lakes in the United States.

News coming out of England earlier this week is that the world's top-rated horse, FRANKEL, has been cleared to resume training after an ultrasound scan on April 18 did not reveal any tendon damage.

The scan was conducted after the undefeated colt sustained what was called a "superficial" injury to his off-foreleg during a gallop at Newmarket on April 11. X-rays taken of the 4-y-o son of Galileo immediately after the incident showed that he had sustained no bone damage. The Henry Cecil-trained FRANKEL will more than likely be programmed for the valuable Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in the weeks ahead.

Today at Doncaster in the 14th race over 10 furlongs, Frankie Dettor's mount AHZEEMAH (4-1) is tipped to go one better in a field of 13 down to contest the Free Betting Handicap with a purse of $650,000. AHZEEMAH is trained by Saeed bin Suroor.
