While no beacons were lit
, the Israeli community in Jamaica celebrated the country's Independence Day on Monday night at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel. Theme for this year's ceremony, which marked Israel's 62nd Independence Day, is Herzl's adage "If you will it, it is not a dream."
