Racing is on at Chester, Lingfield, Market Rasen, Ascot, Hamilton and Nottingham today. The last three courses stage evening racing fixtures.

There is also simulcast racing from Fingerlakes and Belmont Park in New York.

Meanwhile, CAMELOT ran on strongly to edge out FRENCH FIFTEEN in the 2000 Guineas, first classic of the English Flat Racing season, over a mile at Newmarket last Saturday.

Ridden by Joseph O'Brien, son of winning trainer Aidan O'Brien who is Ireland's finest, CAMELOT, who is unbeaten in three starts, won by a neck as the 9-5 favourite.

CAMELOT, whose main objective is the Epsom Derby, was bred in Great Britain by Sheikh Abdulla Isa Al-Khalifa.

On Sunday at Newmarket, Aidan O'Brien completed a classic sweep when HOMECOMING QUEEN scored an upset victory in the 1000 Guineas over a mile for three-year-old fillies, winning by nine lengths with Ryan Moore aboard.

Today at Chester in the 11th race over five furlongs, Ryan Moore's mount, BALLESTEROS, a 13-8 favourite, should make it two in a row in a field of 11 three-year-olds.
