Dream Girls on the way

With the week-long Dream Weekend just around the corner, the search for ambassadors is off to a beautiful start.
On Tuesday, at the Fiction Lounge at Marketplace, more than 100 ladies came out in hope of being selected as part of the 20 Dream Girls to represent both the Smirnoff and Dream Weekend brands over the Independence and emancipation weekend.
P.J. Wright of Dream Entertainment told The Gleaner what the Dream Team is looking for in a Dream Girl.
"We're definitely looking for outspoken personalities who can go out and represent the brand. We have a lot of corporate sponsors who have come on-board, so we want to make sure we have persons who can represent them as best as possible," he said.
In this, the fourth year of the search, Wright said that it has always done well and they always get a good crop of ladies.
"We have ladies who come out who know the brands. They are seeking summer employment and we're looking to take on as much as possible. We're looking for 20 ladies, and so far, more than 100 have come out," shared Wright.
The selected Dream Girls will be announced next week and will be doing heavy promotional drives for the party weekend, which will see them at several locations islandwide bringing 'the dream' to persons.
