High fashion 'n' tea

Styleweek was officially kick-started last Thursday with 'High Tea & Style with the 1st Lady'! Fashionistas from all over the globe jetted in for this very stylish event. Ladies converged with lavish hats on the lawns of King's House to see the unveiling of the fall collections by Neahlis and Courtney Washington as style met charity.
As the only fashion event endorsed by the Jamaica Secretariat for the Jamaica 50 celebrations, Styleweek Jamaica staged yet another innovative event under the patronage of Lady Allen. The event was well attended by women donning fashionable hats and fascinators and a few men interspersed in-between,
Both designers outfitted their collections with airy Caribbean-inspired designs. Both managed to incorporate one of the season's most sought-after fashion trends - colour-blocking - as the audience marveled at the designs of their choice. With the steps of King's House as their catwalk, the models paraded for all to see as Styleweek's homage to Jamaica 50 was officially launched at the formal gardens of Jamaica's First Lady.
