What's up with Reggae Boyz?

1. There are many negative vibes about the current crop of Reggae Boyz. The question many are asking is whether the country is making use of its best talent? It seems some players are not favoured by the administration and are systematically locked out of the programme even when they appear to be in peak form. Many questions, but few answers.

Who will pay?

2.So the minister of finance would have us believe that his new tax on telephone calls will be absorbed by the generous telecoms company? Stranger things have happened in the world of finance and economics, so let's see how this one plays out.

Let's do the proper checks!

3. There needs to be a department of credentials in this country. There are way too many persons passing themselves off as certified and qualified when they are not. The public sector appears to be a magnet for these charlatans, and word is that one department was in uproar recently when a new employee could not produce the paperwork to back his impressive cv.

Too many legal minds!

4.Some people say it is a bad idea to double the intake of lawyers to be trained in Jamaica. Already lawyers are so short of work in the current competitive environment, some have aligned themselves to the police to get first call on would-be clients. Others have agents posted at hospitals to identify targets who may file lawsuits in accidents.
