Farmer's Watch launches today

The launch of Farmer's Watch, a programme aimed at reducing opportunities for theft of agricultural produce and other crimes, takes place today at the Rock River Bethlehem Baptist Church in Rock River, Clarendon.

It is slated to get under way at 1 p.m.

Farmer's Watch will be replicated in other communities across the country.

AIBGA AGM set for July 19

'Banana, the Fruit of Choice' is the theme for the All-Island Banana Growers' Association Limited's annual general meeting which will be held at the Port Maria Civic Centre, St Mary, on Thursday, July 19.

Starting time is 10 a.m.

St Mary Breadfruit Festival

Jeffrey Town Farmers Association presents St Mary Breadfruit Festival at Ben's World Farm on Sunday, July 15. Admission is $500.

Come out and enjoy breadfruit in every style - boiled, roasted, punch, pudding, pie, jam or wine.
