Jamaica's female golfers made a strong showing in the recently concluded Caribbean Golf Association Classic, which was held in the Dominican Republic from May 23-27. Jodi Barrow finished on top in the ladies first flight for low handicappers, Michele Gabay finished at the head of the second ladies flight and in the third flight Leiza Blakeley finished fifth. Shelley Hendrickson and Rowena Coe ended the tournament in second and third position, respectively, in the fourth flight. Celsa Nuño, Spain's Ambassador to Jamaica, finished second in the ladies' seventh flight.

Munn will be the top contender in the ladies section of Jamaica's National Trials, which tee off at the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course on Thursday.
