Moorlands Camp is a Christian, residential camp for young people located near Spur Tree, Manchester. We offer seven week-long camps between July 1 and August 18.
Started almost 75 years ago, it continues today with annual summer camps for ages 9-22 years.
Activities include: swimming, hiking, "puddocks," archery, volleyball, football, camp fires, cookouts, crafts, workshops in the performing arts and much more.
Weekly cost: is $25,500.
Sommerkurse For Teens
The Jamaican German Society will be hosting a German Language Summer Programme for Teens from July 9-27, at the Jamaican German Society, 33 Seymour Avenue, St Andrew.
The programme will run for 30 hours, Monday to Thursday from 9.30 a.m-noon. The cost is $10,000.

Learn to Earn
The University College of the Caribbean in association with INFOSERV presents its 'Learn to Earn Summer Camp' starting on July 9 and August 13. Each module lasts for two weeks and includes classes in Workforce Preparation, PC Mechanics, Web Page Design, Computer Animation and A+ Certification.
Dates: Monday to Friday for children aged 13 and older.Deadline for applications: June 28 and July 31 respectively.

Math Camp 2012
This summer, Math Plus Learning Centre in association with Diana Southbourne, a Kingston-based math tutor and home school teacher, offers an exciting opportunity for your children to enhance their math skills in a fun and exciting way trough Math Camp 2012.
Campers will learn the building blocks of math; the relationships between money and math; and how math is applied in society in a fun-filled experience that fosters teamwork, leadership, critical and creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Age 14 plus: Math in the World
Age 10-13: Money and Math
Age 7-9: Math Building Blocks
Dates and Times: 1-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday July 2-July 30.

Health Care Academy of the Americas Camp
Dates: July & August
The objective of this camp is to keep children engaged, learn something new every day and have fun with games and activities. Programmes are geared towards a healthy lifestyle, as well as activities to stimulate their mind.
Book Club and Writers Club
Participants in this group will be encouraged to read a book every day and discuss it and indicate what he/she has learnt. The writers club is intended to encourage these same readers to write.
Students learn self-defence and get great exercise.
CPR and First Aid
The Heart Foundation of Jamaica will conduct sessions on CPR and emergency care to let children learn how to act in an emergency.
Art and Craft Club
This activity is guaranteed to be lots of fun.
Children will learn to swim or improve their skills in the water.
