'Bespokes' trendy collection

Published:Sunday | June 24, 2012 | 12:00 AM
Being that it's tan and leather rolled into one, this very trendy blazer was a hot ticket on the runway.
The sophistication of a suit is always well appreciated but to make that added statement, be bold and go for a plaid (as seen here) and even a bow tie for a more elegant flair.
If that messy but sometimes edgy style is for you, then this striped blazer with this red shirt and tailored shorts are the perfect combo. The boots give it that added hardcore feel.
Spokes is known for its attention to detail, especially where fit is concerned and this look complements the model well as he parades down the Wyndham poolside catwalk.
A subtly done colour-blocked three-piece suit is for the gentleman who doesn't like to OD where fashion is concerned.
A red tie brings a pop of colour to this monotone outfit.
He's man enough to rock pastel on top, balanced out by thread-baring denim pants.
This lovely raspberry jacket is the perfect complement for these white slacks and graphic print shirt.

Dressing the well-suited male

Spokes Apparel continues to make men's fashion more appealing and more wearable. Recently, designer Dexter Huxtable showcased his pieces at 'The Collections' poolside of the Wyndham Kingston hotel. Only a select few were invited to get a sneak peek into the collection of one of Jamaica's most prominent menswear labels.

Huxtable's major influence comes from the Parisian and Italian mode of dress and he has undoubtedly made a name for himself when it comes to tailored/fitted suits, and sports jackets.

On show were suits of varying cuts, textures and colours - clean cut and classic suits mixed with others that incorporated many of the season's hottest trends. Huxtable presented colour blocking, denim and shocking hues that are fashionable right now.

The all-white backdrop of the set worked as an excellent canvas for the pieces that were displayed.
