The Tastee/Tropicana Tropics Family Fiesta was another major success for Tropicana Tropics.

The event, which was the first of a three-part series, was held Sunday, May 25, on the lawns the Hope Gardens.

Geared towards promoting family values and cohesiveness in communities, the fiesta was well received by the families and many children in attendance. Kicking off at 10 a.m., the event was full to capacity shortly after midday with several children turning out. They occupied themselves by enjoying the free fun rides, the gaming lounge and face-painting. There was live entertainment hosted by comedic duo Ity and Fancy Cat, who kept the crowd alive with a bellyful of laughter and various activities.

Tropicana had a 'chill zone', which was dedicated to refreshing patrons with all the thirst-quenching and tantalizing flavours of Tropicana Tropics. This chill zone was the perfect match to Tastee's One Stop Lounge, which provided patties and food for patrons.

According to Cornelia Nathan, brand manager for non-carbonated beverages at Pepsi-Cola Jamaica, the fiesta was a tremendous success. It gave Tropicana Tropics the ideal opportunity to interact with various families from all walks of life who enjoy the sweet, refreshing yet healthier option, and great taste of Tropicana Tropics.

One patron was overheard saying that if the first event was so good, he couldn't wait for the next.

The second event is set for August 3, 2014 at the Turtle Tower Park, and the final will take place on December 7 at Barnett Street, Montego Bay.
