Waterhouse Blazers will be aiming to take a 2-0 series lead against the Arnett Rockers when both teams meet in game two of their best-of-five finals in the Southern Conference Basketball competition tonight at the Waterhouse Basketball Court, starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Blazers lead the series 1-0 following their 74-70 overtime victory over the Rockers in game one on Monday at the same venue. Both teams had played to a 60-60 tie at the end of regulation time.

"I am confident that we can come with a win in game two," said Neriesha Bryan, manager of the Blazers. "There are some little slack areas that need to be tightened up, but our guys will go out and fight for the victory."

The Blazers were led to victory by Raymond Layne's 21 points; Sean McLain, 14 points; and Leighton McZanna, 11 points.

Waterhouse led 32-23 at half-time and 46-44 at the end of the third period.

Granville Wilson, the Rockers coach, said: "We got off to a bad start in game one, and so come game two, we will have to defend their shooters better because we gave up a lot of easy baskets," said Wilson.
