Rockfort FC and Bull Bay FC will square-off for the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA)/Hi-Lyte Major League title in the final at Harbour View FC, today, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Both East St Andrew teams are already assured of promotion to the KSAFA Super League by being in the final, so bragging rights and the title will be in the minds of the teams.

In two previous meetings during the preliminary stage, Rockfort defeated Bull Bay 2-1 at Bull Bay, while the return game ended 0-0 at Rockfort.

Now, with the trophy at stake, both teams will be coming all out for victory.

"We hope to reverse that defeat and win the final," coach of Bull Bay. Paul Hibbert, told The Gleaner. "It will boil down to the team that can stand well in defence," he added.

"It is a friendly rivalry and we are hoping for good football from both teams and I hope the better team wins," Hibbert noted.

Donovan McGurdy who scored both goals for Bull Bay against Meadforest in the semi-final at Stadium East two weeks ago is on a hot streak. He is expected to get support from captain Bevil Grosset, Akeem Smith and former national Under-20 player Andre Beckett.

Meanwhile, Rockfort are confident that they will take home the title.

"We need the cup, gunning for it. We are confident and the players are in high spirit for this final," manager of Rockfort Dillon Jeffrey told The Gleaner.

Rockfort will rely on players such as Akeem Higgins, Calvin Campbell, Chevon Williams, Tevin Brown and Albert Aarons.

Entrance fee for today's match is $200.
