GraceKennedy's annual Education Run will be held on July 6 in downtown Kingston. Don Wehby, Group CEO, GraceKennedy, in speaking to the event, thanked all who had come together to make it sustainable for the last six years. "We started out with just over 1,000 participants; last year, just under 5,000 persons lined up outside our building at 73 Harbour Street," he said.

Wehby said that over the six years of the run, the event had managed to raise $13 million net towards the education initiatives of the Grace and Staff Community Development Foundation. The foundation assists in sending more than 400 secondary- and tertiary- level children to school.
