Tuesday talk

Published:Tuesday | June 24, 2014 | 12:00 AM

1. Everywhere, people are talking about the new colonists - the Spanish in tourism, the British in security, the Russians in entertainment, the Trinidadians in industry, and the Chinese in everything else. And we wonder why the dollar is under pressure?

2. So ironic that the one who squealed the loudest about "disrespect" and "walkout" staged a similar protest a few hours before that. It's another case of "do as I say but not as I do".

3. A wrecker pulling up at someone's home on a week-end is not a good sign. It is usually followed by loading up the vehicle and driving off. The story about sending it for mechanical checks may make the owner feel good, but it will not fool anyone.

4. The Montego Bay home wrecker is at it again. This time, she has hooked her best friend's husband. The families are now at war, and one is nervous that this will end in a very bad way.
