WESTERN BUREAU:

It was a celebration filled with delicious food, great wine, good laughter and music as Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) celebrated its first year in Montego Bay recently.

In a beautifully decorated setting, complete with long-stemmed red roses and throw cushions on long sofas at the entrance to the company's Fairview office, employees from St Andrew joined their Montego Bay colleagues and clientele to unwind and celebrate.

President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Croskery said the occasion was a special one for the company, and expressed special thanks to the City of Montego Bay for its support.

"Our focus has always been in Kingston since 1973, but we really took a hard look at Montego Bay, and we saw a lot of economic activity happening. Since we have been here, the support has been tremendous and I just want to say thanks to all our clients,'' he noted.

The evening saw a performance from comedians Ity and Fancy Cat, who had everyone in stitches.

The CEO later stole the show when he joined songstress Ikaya, on the dance floor, much to everyone's delight, as was evidenced by loud cheers that erupted.

Gracing the stage after Ity and Fancy Cat, Ikaya proved she is, indeed, a master performer as she kept the crowd laughing, and cheering. Her impromptu performance with Croskery brought the curtains down on a really wonderful and enjoyable SSL celebration.
