Governor General Sir Patrick Allen will deliver the keynote address at tomorrow's official opening of FosRich Company Limited, a leading distributor of electrical, lighting and energy-saving products in Jamaica.

The new Lifestyle store is located at 35 Ward Avenue in Mandeville, Manchester, along the strip lined with stores that carry plumbing, bathroom, kitchen and other hardware supplies. The opening starts at 4 p.m.

Soft opening

FosRich has been having a soft opening for the past two and a half weeks and, according to Herma Edwards-Wright, regional manager, the response has been favourable. She said prices were competitive and the initial sale on many items is being well received. FosRich Lifestyle also has locations in Kingston and Montego Bay.

When the team from The Gleaner visited the store last week, we saw spacious surroundings, an attractive layout and a wide choice of inventory. The pleasant, courteous staff were eagerly engaging their customers.

With solar energy occupying the minds of consumers these days, FosRich has some of the latest water heaters and outdoor lighting alternatives in stock. There are also ample supplies of LED bulbs for both interior and exterior spaces as well as decorative lighting fixtures to send the imagination into the stratosphere. But, don't take our word; go and check them out for yourself.

Also expected to be in attendance at tomorrow's opening are Sally Porteous, custos of Manchester; mayor of Manchester, Brenda Ramsay; and managing director of the FosRich Group, Cecil Foster.
