No sign of hope for Eastwood Park

Published:Saturday | July 26, 2014 | 12:00 AM

The intersection of Upper Sandringham and Burlington avenues has had more than five major accidents similar or worse than the one that took place this morning.

Kindly note that the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) and the Half-Way Tree police have been notified extensively in the past with regard to this problem.

The problem is a lack of, or poorly painted, stop signs. Requests have been made on several occasions to the KSAC on this matter. To date, no stop sign has been placed where one is to be located, and the single stop sign that currently exists has not be upgraded, as it is poorly visible.

God bless the victims that no lives were lost or serious injury sustained. We certainly hope that is not what the KSAC is waiting on to act.
