If you have ever dreamt of an opportunity to interface with some of the brilliant minds behind Internet giant Google, you may just be in luck. Come Saturday, two Google directors, engaged by Scotiabank in association with the Branson Entrepreneurial Centre, will be on hand to conduct an interactive workshop for both tech and non-tech entrepreneurs.

Titled 'Innovative Led', the workshop, to be held at the University of the West Indies, Mona, combines cutting-edge concepts with practical business coaching, while demonstrating how to incorporate innovation into operation.

The session will open with a discussion around the innovation process at Google and how some of this approach can be applied by local entrepreneurs. There will also be discussion to highlight how experimentation allows entrepreneurs to recognise new opportunities, using the case study on the Google Chrome as an example.

The session will be facilitated by IT business strategy wizards Ian Ellison-Taylor, director of product management for the Open Web Platform (OWP) team at Google, and JJ Geewax - software engineer, Google Cloud Platform.
