Police suspect teacher commited suicide

The police are continuing investigations today into what they believe is a case of suicide involving a teacher at the St. Mary High School.

According to the police, the body of Hubert Earl, 45, of Siding, Highgate was found in the parish yesterday morning.

Mr. Earl’s coworker found the body at his house, with a frothy substance dripping from his mouth and alerted the police.

When the investigators arrived at the teacher’s house, two suicide notes and a bottle of insecticide were found.

Mr. Earl was taken to the Annotto Bay Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

It is said that Mr. Earl was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and had reportedly been going through a period of depression.
