Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni top-scored for India with 37.

Michael Clarke 79, and Hogg 32 scored most runs for Australia against the bowling of Irfan Pathan with four for 41 and Ishant Sharma two for 32.

The win, with a bonus point, moved Australia to 17 points in the Tri-series standings ahead of India’s eight.
