Private companies to help JA police
The government is to launch a campaign to get more private companies to help the police.
The National Security Minister, Derrick Smith said the partnership would help to improve the physical conditions at some police stations.
He said the government is committed to improving the working conditions of police personnel.
Mr. Smith said his ministry has secured funding to increase the available training for the police force to address the shortage that exists.
The security minister also said there are considerations for the police commissioner, to be given more power to deal with indiscipline and corruption within the force.
