The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) dissolved the board of the St. Ann Football Association with immediate effect.

The action was taken following investigations conducted by JFF’s General Secretary, Horace Reid regarding problems within the St. Ann FA.

The JFF said the relationship between the President of the St. Ann FA and members of its board has been damaged.

The JFF also said the St. Ann FA has failed to stage a meeting, since May 2007 including the Annual General Meeting.

The governing body will convene a Special General Meeting on March 8, to elect an interim Executive Committee of seven persons to conclude the remainder of the term of the current Board.

All competitions currently administered by the St. Ann FA will be suspended, pending the Special General Meeting.
